Meeting of members and supporters of the Church Law Society under the series Influence of Law in Society and Church took place in the building of the School of Law of Charles University in Prague, 7 Curieových Sq., at the ceremonial hall No. 38, on Tuesday 28th March 2017 at 5 p. m. The latest instruction of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith regarding burial and cremation Ad resurgendum cum Christo was the topic of the evening event. Historical introduction was presented by prof. JUDr. Jiří Rajmund Tretera. The instruction was discussed with regard to the development of the current Czech legislation on burial by ThLic. Tomáš Kotrlý, Th.D. Mayor and Mayor Emeritus of the Všehrd Association of Czech Lawyers handed over the honorary membership diploma to prof. JUDr. Jiří Rajmund Tretera.

Meeting of members and supporters of the Church Law Society under the series Influence of Law in Society and in Church took place at the baroque refectory of the Dominican monastery of St. Giles in the Old Town of Prague on Wednesday 7th June 2017 at 5 p. m. Attention was paid to the presentation of a new book Church Law, which was written by prof. Jiří Rajmund Tretera and doc. Záboj Horák and published by the Leges Publishing House, as well as to the presentation of a new book The Beginnings of the Hierarchical Arrangement in the Early Church by doc. Stanislav Přibyl and the presentation of a new book Mysteries Concerning the Marriage of Anne Katherine Špork by prof. Antonín Ignác Hrdina and Mgr. Hedvika Kuchařová.
