The Church Law Society in cooperation with legal section of the Czech Christian Academy arranged on 6th September 1996 on the School of Law of the Charles University in Prague, conference named Financing of churches in Europe and in USA.
Conference was initiated by Assoc. Prof. JUDr. Jiří Rajmund Tretera, Chairman of the Church Law Society. Guests were greeted by JUDr. Ing. Jiří Zemánek, CSc., deputy dean of the School of Law of the Charles University in Prague, responsible for foreign affairs of the school.

professor of religion law of the School of Law of the University of Ruhr in Bochum, honorary professor of religion law at the School of Catholic Theology of Westfall William’s University in Münster and former director of legal department of the Essen Diocese. Topic: Variants of Systems of Financing of Churches.
Prof. Harry C. Veryser
professor of the Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, Michigan. Topic: Financing of Churches in USA.
Prof. Bernard Dafflon
department of public finance of the University of Fribourg. Topic: Administration of Church Finances in Switzerland.
On 10th and 11th September 1998, the second international conference under the series of Prague Dialogues on Church and State Relations took place in the premises of the School of Law of the Charles University in Prague. The conference was arranged by the Church Law Society and legal section of the Czech Christian Academy in co-operation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
The conference was initiated by Prof. JUDr. Dušan Hendrych, CSc., dean of the School of Law of the Charles University in Prague.

The Church Law Society in co-operation with legal section of the Czech Christian Academy arranged on 7th September 2000 the international conference in the reading-room of library of the priory of Dominicans of St. Giles in Prague 1.
From 9 a.m. Dr. Karl Eugen Schlief from Münster, former chief of department of law of the Diocese Münster held a lecture on topic Changes in Religion Law in Area of Former DDR. Lecture was followed by a discussion.
After break a lecture was held by Mark E. Chopko from Washington, D. C., general counsel of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on theme Structures of Church and Its Financial Relation to the State Organs in the USA. Discussion followed.
During the second day of conference (Friday, 8th September 2001) foreign participants visited main Czech academical and church institutions.
The Church Law Society and the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague, organized on 13th - 15th June 2019 an international conference on the aforementioned topic. The Conference took place at the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague, nám. Curieových 7, Praha 1 - Old Town, in hall no. 38.
